UCEED 2025 Results are out! The results were declared on Mar 7, 2025. The candidates can download the scorecard from the official website uceed.iitb.ac.in from March 10- June 11, 2025.

. The mean and standard deviation have been announced to be 61.50 and 25.69, respectively. Candidates who meet the UCEED cutoff 2025 marks will be eligible to get to the next stage of selection. The counselling process started on Mar 14, 2025, and the candidates can register by Mar 31, 2025, at 6 participating colleges on a seat matrix of 2025.

About UCEED Exam

Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) is a National Level Entrance Examination that offers admission into the B.Des program at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIITDM Jabalpur, and many other institutes.

IIT Bombay has the exclusive rights to conduct UCEED 2025 and decide about the admissions rules and the allotment of seats. The course offered through 2025 UCEED is Bachelor of Design (B.Des). Candidates from the science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their subjects are eligible to apply for all four institutions, i.e., IIT Bombay, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Guwahati, and IITDM Jabalpur.

In contrast, candidates with other streams ( arts, commerce, and science without mathematics, physics, or chemistry) are eligible to apply only to IIT Bombay, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur.

Candidates can attempt the UCEED exam a maximum of two times in consecutive years. Candidates must secure a good UCEED rank to secure admission in B.Des programs. For admission to the BDes program at the partnering institutions, IIT Bombay administers the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED).

The UCEED application form 2025 process commenced on Oct 1, 2024, on the official website at uceedapp.iitb.ac.in. The registration fee for the General Category is INR 3,600 and for the Reserved Category & Females of all Categories, it is INR 1,800.

UCEED Application Last Date To Apply 2025

The UCEED form application last date 2025 ended on Nov 18, 2024. Earlier, the last date to apply was Oct 31, 2024 (without fine), and Nov 8, 2024 (with fine). The with fine last date was extended to Nov 18, 2024, later.

UCEED Application Process 2025

Candidates must complete the UCEED application form 2025 to register for the exam. Applicants can follow the steps given below to complete the UCEED login 2025.

1. New Registration

Candidates registering for the UCEED 2025 exam for the first time can follow the steps below.

• Step 1: Candidates must go to the official website.
• Step 2: Now click on 'Examination' > 'Registration' to access the UCEED registration form.
• Step 3: Now, click on "Registration Portal"  and select "Register" if you are a first-time applicant. (If not, select Login)
• Step 4: Enter the email ID with which you want to register yourself. Then click on "Register" to proceed.

2. Upload Credentials/ Documents

After registering as a new user, candidates can follow the steps given below to complete the UCEED application process 2025.

• Step 1: Candidates must click the "Fill out the Registration Form" button.
• Step 2: Candidates must enter their communication address, mother's name, father's name, educational qualification, and exam details.
• Step 3: They must click the 'Save' button and cross-check the entered details. After confirmation, candidates must click the 'Confirm' button to submit.
• Step 4: Applicants should upload the documents- Passport size colour photograph and a scanned copy of the candidate's signature along with their class 10 and class 12 mark sheet. After uploading, they should click on the 'Submit' button.
• Step 5: Candidates need to pay the UCEED application form fee 2025 to complete the registration.
• Step 6: Next, they must take a printout of the application form for future reference.

UCEED Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates who want to appear for the UCEED 2025 exam must satisfy all the eligibility criteria as specified. Those not meeting the requirements will not be allowed to proceed with the further rounds of examination.

UCEED Exam Pattern 2025

UCEED 2025 exam is a computer-based online examination in English. The exam mainly consists of 3 sections for a total of 300 marks namely:

• Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Questions
• Multiple Select Questions (MSQ)
• Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)

The paper will consist of two parts, i.e., Part A and Part B. The candidate must take note of the UCEED Exam Paper Pattern 2025 so that they can prepare well for it.

Part A: Part A of the UCEED exam 2025 will consist of three sections, i.e., Section I, II, & III, with Total Marks of 240 with a Time Duration of 2 hours 30 mins. It will be administered through a Computer-based test. The three sections of Part A of the UCEED Exam have been listed below.

Part B: Part B consists of just 1 question to test the candidate's drawing skills. The question will be displayed on the computer screen, and the answer has to be written/ drawn in the answer book provided by the invigilator. The candidate must complete Part B in 30 minutes, and a total of 60 marks can be secured.

UCEED Syllabus 2025

Candidates can download the revised syllabus for the UCEED 2025 exam from the official website. IIT Bombay announced that a new UCEED exam course syllabus and test pattern will be used in 2025.

The UCEED entrance exam pattern will be divided into two parts, according to the revised UCEED exam pattern: Part A and Part B. Part A will be computer-based, but Part B will have questions displayed on the screen. Still, answers must be written/drawn on the answer booklet provided at the exam hall. In the new format, the Part B exam will last 60 minutes.

UCEED syllabus 2025 is based on the 10+2 model of education. Understanding the formation of questions from different subjects is important to crack the exam. UCEED Exam Timings 2025

UCEED exam 2025 was held on January 19, 2025 (Sunday). The exam was held from 09:00 am to 12:00 noon. Candidates were required to be seated at least 30 minutes before the start time, that is, by 8:30 AM, to complete all the formalities.

The exam is held in two parts parts A and B part A is computer-based and should be completed within one hour. Part B requires drawing on paper to assess candidates, aptitude, creativity, visual perception and logical thinking and thus the candidate needs to finish it in two hours. 

Candidate must reach the UCEED exam centre 2025 before the reporting time. Arriving late may result in disqualification and candidates may not be allowed to enter the examination hall. They must ensure to carry all the documents needed to avoid any unnecessary hustle at the time of entry.

UCEED Exam Day Guidelines 2025

• Candidates must carry a printed copy of the downloaded UCEED Admit Card 2025. Only those candidates having a valid admit card will be allowed inside the examination centre.
• Invigilators and the IIT representatives will verify the candidate’s identity. If the candidate's identity is in doubt, the candidate may not be allowed to appear for the examination. However, at their discretion, the authorities may permit the candidate to appear for the examination after completing certain formalities. No extra time will be allowed for completing the examination instead of the time taken for completing these formalities
• Impersonation in the UCEED examination is a serious offence that will thereby result in immediate disqualification of the candidate from UCEED, and lead to a criminal proceeding against the candidate
• Candidates will NOT be allowed to carry any electronic device (mobile phones, smartphones, digital/ smart watches, calculators, tablets, etc.), abacus, slide rule, logbooks, study material of any type, geometry box, etc. to the Examination Hall. A list of forbidden items will be put up on the website before the exam if there are additional items.
• Candidates have to remain in the examination hall for the entire duration of the exam.

UCEED Exam Centres 2025

UCEED Exam 2025 will be held in 27 cities across India and will also conducted overseas, in Dubai. The candidates had to select three cities across India in their order of preference while filling out the application form. But they are allotted only one out of the selected alternatives.

UCEED exam admit card 2025 was released on the official website today Jan 03, 2025, at 01:00 pm by the exam authorities. The candidates must carefully check the details on it to avoid any last-minute candidature.

Candidates must download the UCEED admit card 2025 and print it after verifying the information on it. In the event of a discrepancy, candidates will be directed to promptly notify the conducting authorities.

UCEED Cutoff 2025

The cut off marks are the minimum marks required to pass the examination. The UCEED cutoff 2025 for Part A was released by IIT Bombay on the official website on Feb 06, 2025. The candidates will be shortlisted based on the marks obtained in Part A. UCEED 2025 cutoff mark is an essential requirement to enrol for a B.Des course in the college of one's choice.

UCEED Mean and Standard Deviation

The UCEED 2025 mean and standard deviation have been declared by the commission and are as follows:

UCEED Rank List 2025

UCEED Rank List 2025 will be prepared based on the total marks. The candidates who score the minimum prescribed marks in each section and the minimum total marks will be included in the Rank List. The UCEED marks vs rank 2025 details will be released as soon as the exam is conducted.

If two candidates have scored the same total marks, a tiebreaker policy will be used to award the rank. The policy used is stated below:

• The candidate who has scored the highest marks in Section B will be awarded a higher rank
• If the previous policy does not break the tie, Section A marks will be considered
• If there exists a tie even after that, the candidates will be awarded the same rank

Admission to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programs at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, & IIITDM Jabalpur is done through the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam and the following table shows the revised category-wise distribution of available seats in 4 institutes.

Several institutions will accept UCEED results in addition to the partnering institutions for admission to their undergraduate design courses. These institutions (UCEED result-sharing institutions) differ from UCEED participating institutions 2025 because they will not participate in IIT Bombay's joint seat allocation process.

UCEED Counselling 2025

UCEED counselling 2025 dates have been released by IIT Bombay on the official website after the results for UCEED 2025 were out. The counselling is being conducted in three rounds, rounds I, II and III. The registration dates along with other important events are mentioned below.

UCEED Counselling Date 2025 

The counselling schedule for the UCEED exam has not been released on the official website yet. However, using the previous year's data tentative dates have been calculated and given in the table below. 

UCEED 2025 Seat Allotment

UCEED Seat Allotment 2025 will be done after the results are out. The seats are allotted based on the applicant's UCEED rank, category, and choice of institutes. Selected candidates will receive their provisional allotment letter via registered email ID. They have to pay the seat acceptance fee of INR 60,000 for General/ OBC/ EWS and INR 15,000 for the other reserved categories.

The seat allocation is based on the following rules the conducting authority sets.

• If the selected candidates do not pay the seat acceptance fee before the given date or have declined admission, their UCEED 2025 application will be cancelled. The conducting body shall fill these vacant seats during the further UCEED 2025 seat allotment rounds.
• If the candidate is allotted the first choice of their desired institute, they can either accept (freeze) the choice or decline the seat offer.
• If the candidate is allotted the second or third choice of their desired institute, they can either accept (freeze) the choice or accept the option to be considered for upward movement (Float).
• Candidates only have the option to withdraw an allotted seat after the last round of seat allocation has been published by the IIT Bombay.
