Exam Pattern for Online Paper (M.Des and B.Des)
The online exam pattern for M.Des and B.Des is as follows.
- Questions: Exam paper consists of 25 multiple-choice questions (MCQ) and for every correct answer 4 marks will be fetched.
- Negative marking: For every wrong answer 2 marks will be deducted. There are no negative marks for the unanswered questions.
- Topics: Questions will be asked from automotive, graphic design, photography, interior design, etc.
Requirements for the Online Test
The requirements for the online test are given below.
- Speed: Candidates' Internet speed should be more than 100kbps.
- Pop Up: Candidates should disable pop-up blockers.
- To disable the pop-up blocker in firefox:
- Step 1: Open Tools
- Step 2: Select option
- Step 3: Click the Content tab and then uncheck 'block pop-up windows'
- Webcam: There should be a Functional Webcam.
- Put Off: Candidate should have to put off chats (Yahoo messenger, Google talk)
- Latest Version: Candidates should have the latest version of JAVA.
Offline Paper Pattern (B.Des)
The offline exam pattern for B.Des is as follows.
- Interview Centres: For the UPES DAT 2025 Exam candidates will be given a particular location or interview Centre.
- Sections: Offline paper will consist of 3 sections in the exam.
- Number of Questions: UPES DAT 2025 Question paper will consist of 100 questions.
- Note: The stationery will be given in the Examination Centre. No other things will be allowed inside the Examination Hall.
