To apply for the UPES B.Des program, the candidate must have a minimum percentage of 50% in Class X and Class XII.
Exception: In case the candidate does not want to appear for UPES DAT 2024, they can take admission into B.Des program if they fulfill either of the mentioned UPES DAT eligibility criteria 2024 :
- The candidate should have secured a minimum of 65% marks in Class X and Class XII.
- Those candidates who have cleared JEE Main and UCEED exams should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in Class X and Class XII
UPES DAT Eligibility Criteria 2024 for B.Des Course
- If candidates want to take the UPES DAT 2024 entrance exam, they must have successfully completed class 12 from a recognised school board with at least 50% marks in both class 10 and class 12 as well as an aggregate of at least 50% in math, physics, and chemistry.
- Candidates may also enrol in the UPES DAT B.Des programme without taking the test. For this, they must meet one of the following eligibility requirements:
- Candidates must have at least a 65 percent grade point average in both Class 10 and Class 12. Or, candidates must pass the JEE MAIN or UCEED test and have at least a 50 percent in classes 10 and 12.
UPES DAT Eligibility Criteria 2024 for M.Des Course
- Candidates can enrol in M.Des programmes at UPES without taking the entrance exam if they have a valid CEED score.
- In classes 10 and 12, they should receive at least a 50 percent grade.
- They must either complete a B.Tech, BE in any field, or BFA programme over four years, or a B.Arch, B.Des, or BSc in Design programme over three years plus a foundational year of Applied Arts with at least a 50 percent marks.
