Minimum Age	The candidate should be at least 16 years of age as of Jul 31, 2024.
Maximum Age	The maximum age limit is 21.
Exemplary Talent	To encourage and support exemplary talented students, direct admission with scholarships is offered.
Direct Admission	First-place finishers from all Central and State boards in India are eligible for direct admission and scholarships from the institute. Direct admission would be available to the top 1000 IIT JEE scorers from the Tamil Nadu district who are also outstanding athletes at the national and international levels.
Qualifying Exam	The candidate's grade in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or Intermediate from any Indian educational board approved by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Delhi, must have been at least 60%. (CBSE, CISCE, and State Education Boards recognised by Board of Higher Secondary Education) The International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma, IB certificate, or University of Cambridge General Certificate of Education (GCE) A-level with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as required courses must have received a 60% or comparable mark. Students who will be taking the class 12 exam this year are also eligible to apply, but they must receive a grade of at least 60% in mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
Kashmiri Migrants	SRMJEEE admission requirements will be relaxed for applicants who are migrants from Kashmir.

SRMJEEE 2024 Exam Pattern

SRMJEEE 2024 exam pattern is available on the official website for candidates to view. Candidates can better plan their preparation by being aware of the SRMJEEE 2024 exam format. SRMJEEE 2024 will be an online-only examination.

The exam will last for two and a half hours. There will be no deducted marks for incorrect responses; instead, each correct response will receive one mark. For candidates to understand the specific exam pattern, questions that will be asked in the exam, the language of the exam, the length of the exam, the form of the exam, and other details, the institute will release the SRMJEEE 2024 detailed exam pattern.

SRMJEEE 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

SRMJEEE 2024 exam will be conducted as a remotely proctored internet-based test in 3 slots on the 3 dates. Candidates appearing for the exam must follow certain instructions on the exam day set by the conducting body. In addition, they must be ready with the admit cards for the exam.

The instructions for SRMJEEE 2024 are provided below. Please go through it to have clarity on the conduction of the exam.

• Only those candidates who have taken the SRMJEEE 2024 mock test remotely using SEB are allowed to appear for the main examination.
• Candidates must use their login credentials printed on the admit cards to enter the main exam portal.
• Candidates must log in for the exam a minimum of 60 minutes before the exam time to take their photograph and ID proof and go through the exam instructions.
• The exam will be conducted for 150 minutes. Candidates can only stop taking the test 30 before the exam's finishing time. 
• Candidates will only be allowed to attempt one question at once. They can answer or skip the question and move on to the next. But they will not be allowed to answer a question once skipped.
• Candidates cannot exit the exam portal even if they complete the exam within the first 120 minutes of the exam. The submit option will only appear 30 minutes before the end time.
• Candidates must go through the instructions in the manual to end the exam. They must enter the quit password to exit the test, which will be available with the instructions.
• The exam will be closed after 150 minutes of the exam.

Note: The conducting body is not responsible for the technical issues from the end of the candidates. They must ensure their devices and internet connection are proper and ready for the exam.

SRMJEEE 2024 Syllabus

SRMJEEE 2024 syllabus will consist of topics prescribed by CBSE for the curriculum of Science in classes XI and XII and the exam will test their grasp on the subjects. Questions will be based on four subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics from their knowledge of the same in their Higher Secondary level exam (qualifying exam). The level of SRMJEEE is considered above JEE Mains and is easier than JEE Advanced.
