SRM College of Pharmacy was established in 1992 and was affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University. In the year 2005, this institute was later brought under the ambit of SRM University. SRMCP Courses are offered in the field of pharmaceutical education. It offers M.Pharm with specializations such as Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy and Pharmacy Practice.

The course curricullum of this institute is designed to prepare quality pharmacists with professional capabilities which allows them to reach great heights in the ratios healthcare system. The D.Pharma course prepares the students for a significant role in managing drug therapy, counselling patients on proper use of medications and monitoring drug therapy outcomes.

B.Pharm	Candidates must pass 10+2 or equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate) / M.Pharm	Candidates must pass Bachelor of Pharmacy with 55% aggregate marks.
Pharm.D	Candidates must pass 10+2 or equivalent qualification with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics or Biology.
