Following registration, the CET Cell issued a merit list of all registered candidates based on their MHT CET score and class 12 results on Aug 8, 2024. The MHT CET seat allotment will be done in three rounds based on their rank/position in the MHT CET merit list.

MHT CET Exam Pattern 2024

Being well-versed in the exam pattern can help prepare for the exam. Details of the MHT CET Exam Pattern 2024 include various essential aspects of the test like marking scheme, the total number of questions and marks, nature of the questions, mode of the exam, etc.

All MHT CET 2024 papers except the Mathematics paper will be available in Marathi, Urdu, and English.

As per the latest update, the MHT CET 2024 exam has a revised syllabus that contains questions from the sections of the Class 12 whole syllabus, and the Class 11 syllabus. There will be no negative marking, however, the difficulty level of the question paper will be par with JEE Mains. MHT CET Syllabus 2024 will be based on the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education.

MHT CET Latest Changes 2024

Keeping the entire situation created by COVID-19 in mind, several changes have been incorporated into the examination pattern, syllabus, and other aspects of MHT CET. All the new changes that the candidates must be aware of are discussed below:

• Before cancelling the HSC Board examination, the State Cell reduced the syllabus for various subjects. The candidates must prepare according to the latest, revised syllabus only.
• Candidates will be expected to answer 10 questions in each section, based on the syllabus of class 11. 20% of the weightage is occupied by class 11th's syllabus.
• The level of difficulty of MHT CET 2024 may be raised.
• In MHT CET 2024, no questions will be asked from the chapter on 'Complex Numbers, from Class 11.'
