During the MHT CET B.Tech and Pharmacy admission 2024, class 12 marks along with MHT CET scores are also taken in account. As stated by Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant, MHT CET 2024 will provide 50 per cent weight to class 12 marks for admission to professional programs.

MHT CET counselling 2024 round 3 seat allotment result was announced on Sep 5, 2024. Students must report to the allotted institutions between Sep 6 - Sep 9, 2024. The CAP schedule for the MHT CET 2024 exam was released for courses like BE/ B.Tech. The MHT CET counselling 2024 process under CAP started from Jul 14, 2024. MHT CET 2024 counselling will take place in three stages.

Following registration, the CET Cell issued a merit list of all registered candidates based on their MHT CET score and class 12 results on Aug 8, 2024. Candidates whose names appeared on the merit list are further asked to select colleges and courses. The MHT CET seat allotment will be done in three rounds based on their rank/position in the MHT CET merit list.

Candidates selected for the MHT CET Counselling 2024 process will be informed via a notification on their registered email address or mobile number. Candidates who have qualified for MHT CET must attend the counselling process conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research for Health Sciences and Pharmacy courses. For Engineering courses, the board has a different body.

MHT CET results 2024 was declared on the official website on Jun 16, 2024. The provisional merit list was released on Aug 3, 2024. Candidates could raise any grievances for the provisional merit list from Aug 4 - Aug 6, 2024. The final merit list was released on Aug 8, 2024.

Maharashtra State Candidature

Candidates should be Indian nationals. The applicant must have completed class 12th with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject. For candidates of the general category, the minimum percentage criterion is 45%, and 40% for the reserved category

MHT CET Exam Pattern 2024

All MHT CET 2024 papers except the Mathematics paper will be available in Marathi, Urdu, and English.

Weightage: Approximately 20% weightage will be given to the Class 11 curriculum, and 80% weightage will be given to the Class 12 curriculum while setting the question paper. It means that out of 50 questions, 10 will be from Class 11, and 40 will be from Class 12.

Pharmacy: The candidate must appear for Paper II, Paper I, and Paper 3.

Marking: Each answer with the correct response shall be awarded one (1) mark for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. For Mathematics, each correct answer will be awarded 2 marks.

Division of Questions: In each section, 10 questions will be based on class 11's syllabus. The rest 40 will be based on the syllabus of class 12.

No Alteration of Marked Answer: Candidates must be sure of the answer before darkening the appropriate circle in MHT CET 2024, as no change in the answer once marked is allowed.

As per the latest update, the MHT CET 2024 exam has a revised syllabus that contains questions from the sections of the Class 12 whole syllabus, and the Class 11 syllabus.
