MHT CET Seat Allotment 2024 provisional list for round 3 has been released on Sep 5, 2024. Candidates who have been allocated the seats must report to their colleges and pay the admission fee between Sep 6 - Sep 9, 2024. To take part in the seat allotment process, candidates must register themselves for MHT CET counselling 2024. The MHT CET 2024 seat allotment includes allocating seats to students in different colleges.

A total of 3 rounds will take place in the seat allotment process for the MHT CET 2024. To get admission to colleges of their preference, candidates have to go through the seat allotment process.

 MHT CET Seat Allotment 2024 Process

The seat allotment process for MHT CET 2024 is taking place in multiple rounds for the candidates. The process involves candidates filling out their preference of courses and the colleges they would like to be admitted to.

But before candidates take part in the process, they must get their name registered in the counselling process and accept their seat allotment letter.

As rounds are being conducted from Aug to Sep 2024, candidates are given allotments in one of their preferred colleges and courses. Different choices can be made when it comes to selecting the seat allotted to them.

How to Download MHT CET Seat Allotment Letter 2024?

After aspirants have registered themselves for the MHT CET counselling process must select their preferred colleges and courses. Only the registered candidates can participate in the seat allotment process.

Upon the allotment of seats, candidates are required to produce the seat allotment letter while reporting to the allocated college. The steps to download the MHT CET seat allotment 2024 are given below:

• Step 2: Log in on the candidate portal with the correct credentials.

Freeze and Not Freeze Option in MHT CET Seat Allotment

After the MHT CET seat allotment, candidates must select one of the two options given. The details regarding the option are given below:

Freeze Option in MHT CET Seat Allotment 2024

The Freeze option for seat allotment is given below:

• Aspirants who have been allocated a seat in their preference must accept it and pay the fees.
• Candidates allotted a seat other than their first preference can also accept the allotment and pay the fees if they are satisfied with it.

Not Freeze Option in MHT CET Seat Allotment

The details regarding the Not Freeze option are given below:

• Candidates given a seat in the second option and are not satisfied with the seat allotment can choose the not freeze option.
• Candidates are advised to choose the option given in the first round and wait for a better seat allotment in the other rounds.
• If candidates get a seat allotment in the next round and are satisfied, they can accept it. The previous seat allotment will be cancelled.
• If the candidates don’t get a better seat allotment, they can accept the previous seat allotment.

MHT CET Merit List 2024

The authorities released the MHT CET final merit list for MHT CET on Aug 8, 2024. The merit list ranking for MHT CET is based on the marks obtained by the candidates.

The provisional merit list was released on Aug 3, 2024 post which the grievance window was open from Aug 4 - Aug 6, 2024. The selected candidates must report for their counselling and seat allotment process.

MHT CET Counselling 2024

MHT CET counselling 2024 registrations under CAP were over on Jul 30, 2024, for various UG and PG courses. Candidates can select the options for their preferred courses and colleges they wish to take admission to, during the seat allotment process.
