Types of WBJEE Cutoff 2024
WBJEE Cut off 2024 will be released on the official website after the results are declared. Participating institutes will release their respective cut offs for each of the programs after the declaration of results.
There are 3 types of WBJEE 2024 Cutoff.
- WBJEEE Eligibility Cut Off: It is the minimum score required to appear for WBJEE exam. Students who have cleared 10+2 with 45% in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and other major subjects.
- WBJEEE Qualifying Cut Off: It is the minimum WBJEE Cut off 2024 mark required for passing the examination. So, students need to clear this cut off to get eligible for admission to various colleges of West Bengal.
- WBJEEE Admission Cut Off: Based on WBJEE 2024 qualifying marks and merit, admission rounds will be carried out in the participating institutes. The institutes will release the branch-wise WBJEE Cutoff 2024 and category-wise opening and closing ranks.

- Only 1 option is correct.
- Each question carries 1 mark.
- ¼ marks will be deducted on marking incorrect responses.
Category 2
- Only 1 option is correct.
- Each question carries 2 marks.
- ½ marks will be deducted on marking incorrect responses.
Category 3
- 1 or more options may be correct.
- For every correct answer, 2 marks will be rewarded.
- Partially correct answer: total marks = 2 X (no. of correct options/total no. of correct options).

WBJEE Cutoff 2024 Highlights
WBJEEB will post WBJEE Cutoff 2024 online. WBJEE 2024 cut off marks represent the minimum rank required for admission to participating institutes. The West Bengal cutoff 2024 will be presented in the form of opening and closing ranks. All candidates who will secure cut off marks will proceed to WBJEE counselling 2024 rounds.
Candidates who will clear WBJEE Cut off 2024 marks will be eligible for admission to various institutions of West Bengal. A total of 36,000 seats are expected to be filled in 104 participating colleges of WBJEE.
