CMAT results 2024 will be announced by the NTA authorities on the official website i.e, cmat.nta.nic.in. The CMAT 2024 results are expected to be released in Jun 2024 on the official webpage. The CMAT results will contain results candidates' names, roll numbers, registration ID, marks secure, exam status, authority signature etc.

The CMAT cutoff will be announced after the release of the results and students meeting the cutoff criteria will be called for further rounds of admission. Students must check the details printed on the scorecard and must contact the NTA authorities in case of any dispensaries.

CMAT 2024 Result Date

By providing their CMAT 2024 application number, date of birth, and security pin, candidates can download their CMAT scorecard 2024. The rank, sectional percentile, total CMAT percentile, sectional and overall score are all listed on CMAT 2024 scorecard.

CMAT scorecard is acceptable at around 1000 colleges across the country. The candidates applying for admission through CMAT can check the cut-off on the official websites of the respective colleges where they seek admission and proceed if they cut. The applicants must note that the scorecard will only be valid for one year.

How to Check CMAT Result 2024?

CMAT 2024 result will be announced soon by the NTA authorities. Candidates can check it by using their login credentials. The candidates are advised to preserve their hall ticket as it may be required to check the CMAT result. The steps to access the CMAT scorecard are provided below:

• Step 1: The candidates must visit NTA's result portal for the CMAT exam i.e, cmat.nta.nic.in.
• Step 2: The candidates will be required to enter the following credentials: 
  • Application number
  • Birthdate
  • Case-sensitive security pin

• Step 3: Once sure that the details entered are correct, the candidates must hit the submit button provided at the bottom. 
• Step 4: After successfully signing in, a new page will appear where the result will be displayed. A snapshot of the result page is displayed below:

Candidates will be shortlisted for future stages of the selection process at MBA colleges that accept CMAT 2024 scores based on CMAT 2024 results. Most management colleges have a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview as part of the MBA admissions process (PI). CMAT scores are accepted by over 1000 AICTE-approved schools, institutes, and universities for admission to MBA/PGDM/PGPM programmes. CMAT 2024 Points to Remember

• CMAT exam result was compiled using the CMAT final answer key.
• There will be no paper copies of CMAT result 2024 delivered to the candidates' homes. CMAT results are only available online.
• There is no way to recheck or reevaluate CMAT exam result 2024 once it has been released.

CMAT Result 2024 Calculation

• The NTA CMAT result 2024 will be based on the scores obtained by the candidates in the exam.
• The scores in the exam will be calculated on the basis of the weighting of each question on the question paper.
• Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks; and for each wrong answer, there will be a deduction of 1 mark.
• Unattended questions will not be validated.
• The total score after calculation will be the score obtained by that particular individual.

If two or more candidates obtain the same score, then ranking is done based on the sectional scores. The sections are:

NTA will disclose the CMAT merit list 2024 shortly after the result is announced. In PDF format, the CMAT 2024 merit list will be provided. The following information will be included in the CMAT merit list.

How to Calculate Percentile for CMAT 2024?

The percentile for the CMAT Exam is calculated on the basis of the individual rank, the total number of candidates appearing for that particular exam, and finally, the percentile obtained by that individual. The formula for calculating the percentile as per the CMAT Result 2024 is depicted below for the reference of the candidates.

Formula to calculate CMAT Percentile:

Percentile (P) = ((N- your rank)/N) x 100. (Where N = total number of candidates who appeared for the exam)

If in case there are many candidates (more than 1) securing the same rank, those candidates will be allotted the same ranks. However, their names and details will be displayed according to alphabetical order.

Events After CMAT Result 2024

Candidates will have to apply to the institutions and colleges that accept CMAT result 2024 for admission into MBA courses offered by those institutions. All the institutions organize the counselling process for the exam distinctively since there is no centralized coordination for the same.

The individual institutions, to which the candidates have applied, will contact the latter for further procedures. The institutions organize Group Discussions and Personal Interviews for the candidates to take part in and shortlist them on that basis for admissions.

Group Discussions & Personal Interview Shortlisting in CMAT 2024

Candidates who have secured the minimum required CMAT cut off will be shortlisted first for the group discussions and personal interviews. The participating institutes will announce the dates when these two rounds will take place at their campus. Only the candidates who clear the two rounds will be selected for admission.

Group Discussion (GD): The candidates will be divided into groups of 8-10 people. Each group will then be given a topic to debate on. Each candidate will be given scores based on his/her performance in the discussion.

Personal Interview (PI): The candidates who are shortlisted in the GD will then get interviewed by a panel of professors. Candidates will be invited into the interview hall one at a time. Their communication skills, problem-solving skills, knowledge, and confidence will be tested in this round.
