CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2025 for Persons with Disability (PwD)

People under the PwD category should have a disability of not less than 40%. The reservation policy is based on The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (RPwD Act 2016). The following will be considered as a disability as per CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2025:

  • Deaf and hard of hearing
  • Autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability, and mental illness
  • Blindness and low vision
  • Locomotor disabilities including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims, and muscular dystrophy
  • Multiple disabilities from amongst persons under clauses

CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2025 for Availing Scribe or Reader

To avail of the facility of a scribe or a reader, the candidates must abide by the below-given eligibility criteria:

  • The candidates having disabilities associated with their vision, such as blindness, will avail of CMAT 2025 eligibility service and the aid of a scribe or a reader to aid them during the exam.
  • Those candidates should fill out and submit a request form to the superintendent or the head of the CMAT exam.
  • The request form for this purpose should be attached, along with a valid medical certification addressing the disability faced by the candidates.
  • All the candidates availing of this aid will be allotted another 60 minutes during the exam.

Documents to be Produced to Fulfill CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates who are eligible and seeking reservation for allotment of seats under Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Physically Handicapped (PH), Kashmiri Migrant (KM), Girl child category, and Defence person category, must submit the necessary documents to support their claims. Without the submission of documents and their verification, candidates will not be given any benefits of reservation of seats. Documents required for this exam are listed below:
