MAT Reservation Policy 2025

AIMA does not have any reservation policy for the MAT exam. The MAT score accepting institutions may offer admissions based on the Reservation Policy as per the Govt of India. The reservation policy reserves a certain percentage of seats for candidates belonging to the reserved categories.

The percentage of seats reserved for such categories is outlined in the table below.

The conducting body, AIMA, does not determine any specific MAT eligibility criteria 2025 for admission. However, the institutions accepting MAT scores may have their own requirements for eligibility. Some of the general admission criteria across MAT scores accepting institutions include:

  • Candidates must have a 50% -60% aggregate score in their bachelor’s degree.
  • Reserved category candidates may be offered a relaxation of 5% in their minimum qualifying score.
  • Candidates with work experience may be given some preference during admission.
  • Female candidates may also be given relaxation.
  • Academic performance of Class X and XII may also be considered.
