Table of Contents
XAT Syllabus 2025 must be thoroughly understood by the candidates to cover all the topics wisely. The syllabus is divided into four sections, including Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision Making, and General Knowledge.
XAT question paper is divided into three parts. Part 1 comprises Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision Making, Quantitative Ability, and Data Interpretation, part 2 includes XAT Mock Keyboard practice, and Part 3 includes General Knowledge and Essay Writing.
The XAT exam duration is different for each section. For part 1, candidates will be provided 175 minutes to complete the exam. For part 2, students must complete the keyboard practice in 5 minutes, and part 3 must be completed in 30 minutes.
XLRI Jamshedpur frames the XAT syllabus. The syllabus is as extensive as the CAT Syllabus. Candidates must cover all the topics in the syllabus to aim for a good score on the exam. The XAT exam is scheduled for Jan 5, 2025, from 2 PM to 5:30 PM.

XLRI has made some changes in the XAT quant syllabus 2024 in Quantitative Aptitude. A total of 50% of the quantitative questions are asked from Numbers, Geometry, and Mensuration. In contrast, for Data Interpretation, questions are mainly asked from Data Tables, Graphs, Charts, Bar Diagrams, Data Analysis and Comparison.
From Data Interpretation, the candidates must attempt at least 4-5 questions, and from Quantitative Aptitude, candidates should cover 13-14 questions overall. XAT quant weightage is tabulated below:

XAT Exam Syllabus 2025 for GK Highlights
