After the XAT 2025 results have been released on Jan 17, 2025 for which the exam was conducted on Jan 7, 2025, eligible candidates can apply for the group discussion and personal interview rounds. Candidates can only participate in the GD round if they have applied to the XLRI.

The XAT exam results were announced on Jan 17, 2025. After the XAT results are released and the cutoffs are released, candidates can apply for the GD and PI rounds. XLRI conducted the XAT 2025 exam on Jan 5 for admission to MBA courses, PGDM programs in XLRI, and other associated colleges.
Moreover, the XAT exam is conducted annually and the scores are considered for admission into various other colleges. The steps to be followed after the XAT results are out and candidates have passed it are shared below for their reference.
What To Do After XAT Results?
Once the candidates have cleared the XAT exam, the following steps are clearing the group discussion and interview rounds. For now candidates can check the expected XAT 2025 Cutoff to understand the trend. Moreover, GD and PI rounds are conducted by each participating institute based on the XAT cut offs for selection.
1. Appear for Group Discussion Round (GD)
XLRI releases course-wise XAT cut offs within two to three days of the XAT result announcement so that aspirants can apply for the GD/PI round. In this round, candidates are grouped in a 8-10. The one who outperforms is selected for the next round.
Besides, the form-fill-up process for XLRI Jamshedpur is conducted online. The only prerequisite is that candidates need to apply with valid login credentials.
The shortlisted candidates will be invited via e-mail to participate in GD.

2. Prepare for Personal Interview (PI)
The Personal Interview, commonly known as the PI round, assesses the candidate's personality. A group of interviewers will ask questions based on the candidate's field of interest, education, and previous experience.
Moreover, a candidate's aptitude, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills will be tested in this round.

3. Apply for Other XAT Score Accepting Colleges
Several colleges accept XAT scores. These colleges offer MBA education with the existing XAT score. Therefore, candidates do not need to be disheartened. Furthermore, they also arrange for GD/ Pi rounds of their own. Here is the list of colleges accepting XAT scores:

4. Reappear for XAT Exam
Candidates can also reappear for the XAT exam. If candidates are not satisfied or cannot qualify for the XAT exam, they can also appear again. However, it entirely depends on the candidate's choice.
There are other options available, but they can choose according to their flexibility.
5. Appear for Other MBA Entrance Exams
Candidates who cannot achieve the qualifying marks for the XAT exam can also appear for other MBA entrance exams. There are various other entrance exams such as CMAT, MAT, MAH-CET, TSICET, TANCET, APICET, and many more.
Candidates are advised to check the eligibility, cutoffs, previous years' trends and apply for these exams.
