Institute of Rural Management Anand was established in 1979 and is approved by AICTE and AIU. It offers admission to a 2-year full-time PGDM-Rural Management (RM), PGDM-RM Executive, FPM-RM and Management Development Programmes (MDP). Admissions are based on CAT/CMAT/GMAT/XAT scores.

IRMA Anand aims to provide management education, research, training, and consultancy support to co-operatives and rural development organizations in India. IRMA offers world-class infrastructure for learning at its 60-acre-green campus. The institute's infrastructure includes a hostel, classrooms, a library and many more facilities.

In 2023, the average package offered for the PGDM course was INR 13.67 LPA. The college believed that professional management is key to effective rural development.
