XAT Quantitative Aptitude syllabus 2025 is one of the most important topics of the entire syllabus. This section consists of 28 MCQs ranging from moderate to difficult. Each section of the exam will have 22-27 MCQ questions with five options to choose from.

The essay will be evaluated if the candidate is shortlisted for the XLRI admission personal interview round. The XAT 2025 is being conducted on Jan 5, 2025.

XAT Quantitative Aptitude Syllabus 2025

XAT quantitative aptitude section assesses students' mathematical aptitude, calculation skills, and concept application abilities. The XAT QADI syllabus is extensive, covering nearly all aspects of basic numeracy and applied mathematics.

Candidates must pay close attention and exert extra effort when preparing for this section. The syllabus for XAT QADI is divided into two sections.

Quantitative Ability: This section contains 12-13 questions on numbers, algebra, and arithmetic. Mensuration, probability, geometry, and logarithms are also important topics from which questions are framed.

Data Interpretation: DI questions account for roughly half of the question paper. In the XAT DI section, question sets based on data tables, graphs, charts, bar diagrams, data analysis, and comparison are asked.

Aspirants can prepare for the XAT quantitative aptitude syllabus 2025 by studying the syllabus of other management exams such as the CAT.

  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer in the XAT Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation section.
  • The XAT exam lasts 190 minutes, or 3 hours and 10 minutes, with no sectional breaks.
  • As a result, it is recommended that you spend no more than 70 minutes, or 1 hour and 10 minutes, on the XAT Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation section.
  • A good attempt for DI would be four to five questions and for QA, thirteen to fifteen questions.
