TS EAPCET (EAMCET) 2024: Counselling Round 1 Registration (Jul 4)

TS EAPCET (EAMCET) 2024 counselling schedule has been revised by TSCHE on the official website at eapcet.tsche.ac.in. The registration process for TS EAPCET (EAMCET) counselling 2024 round 1 will commence on Jul 4, 2024. The qualified candidates can register for TS EAPCET (EAMCET) 2024 counselling round 1 till Jul 12, 2024.

TS EAPCET (EAMCET) 2024 counselling round 1 certificate verification process will be held online from Jun 29 - Jul 6, 2024. The TS EAMCET (EAPCET) seat allotment 2024 result for round 1 will be published on Jul 19, 2024. Further, the second round of the counselling process will begin on Jul 31, 2024. The round 2 seat allotment will be released on Aug 13, 2024.

Previously, TS EAPCET (EAMCET) result 2024 was declared along with the toppers list for Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy streams. Sativada Jyothiraditya is the Engineering stream topper and Aloor Praneetha is the topper for Agriculture & Pharmacy streams.

A total of 99,890 individuals applied for the TS EAMCET 2024 Agriculture and Pharmacy test. Out of all registered candidates, 96% took the exam. In the Engineering test, 2,06,472 Telangana candidates and 49,071 Andhra Pradesh candidates took the TS EAMCET 2024 exam.

The authorities have also renamed the TS EAMCET 2024 exam to TS EAPCET. The Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) is conducted for aspirants from Telangana who wish to pursue academics in various undergraduate courses in Engineering, Medical, and Agricultural programs.

TS EAMCET Counselling 2024

TS EAPCET (EAMCET) 2024 counselling dates have been announced on the official website at eamcet.tsche.ac.in by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUH), Hyderabad. The Round 1 registration for the qualified candidates will begin online on Jul 4, 2024. The web options window will be open from Jul 8 to 15, 2024. The last date to register for the round 1 counselling process is Jul 12, 2024.

Furthermore, the certificate verification process for TS EAPCET (EAMCET) counselling 2024 will be conducted online between Jul 6 to 13, 2024. After the verification process, the seat allotment result for the first round will be released on Jul 19, 2024. The second round of the counselling process will then commence on Jul 26, 2024.

TS EAPCET (EAMCET) 2024 Eligibility

Candidates are advised to go through the criteria mentioned below carefully. In addition, it is essential to meet the TS EAMCET 2024 eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.

Domicile

• Candidates residing in any institute in Telangana for four consecutive years will be considered local residents. However, candidates not satisfying this criterion will be non-local residents.
• The candidate must be a national resident of India. Also, he/she must satisfy the local/non-local status of Telangana.
• A person of Indian Origin (PIO) and an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) can also apply for the exam.

TS EAPCET (EAMCET) 2024 Age Limit

• The candidate’s age must be 16 years only for B.Tech admission. However, for admission in B.Tech Dairy Technology, Agriculture Engineering or Food Technology, the candidate must be 17.

Educational Qualifications

• Candidates must have passed class 12th or any equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Admission Weightage

• TS EAMCET 2024 score will decide the final admission process. Moreover, 25% weightage of intermediate marks shall be taken into account.

TS EAPCET (EAMCET) 2024 Subject Groups

• For admission to the Pharmacy or Agriculture program, the applicant can only appear for PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) subject group. Likewise, candidates can only appear in the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) for the Engineering program.
• Diploma: Candidates who have completed their diploma program can also appear for TS EAPCET (EAMCET) 2024.

Qualifying Marks in TS EAMCET 2024

• Candidates must obtain at least 25% of the maximum marks in the TS EAPCET (EAMCET) 2024 exam to be considered in the rank list. However, there is no minimum marks for reserved category candidates.

TS EAMCET 2024 Exam Centres

Candidates can select the TS EAPCET (EAMCET) 2024 exam centres when filling out the application form. There will be 18 exam centres for TS EAPCET (EAMCET), located in various cities of Telangana (14 centres) and Andhra Pradesh (4 centres).

Hyderabad has five zones: Hyderabad West, Hyderabad North, Hyderabad Central, Hyderabad East, and Hyderabad South-East. A request for a test zone/ centre change will not be entertained after the applicants select the option at the time of application. The convener of the TS EAMCET exam reserves the right to add or delete test zones. The convener also reserves the right to allocate test zones other than the ones opted for by candidates.

Note: Candidates are advised to check the feasibility of reaching the exam centre while selecting them to ensure the allotment of an exam centre that is reachable from their residence.

TS EAPCET (EAMCET) 2024 Exam Pattern

Candidates must be thoroughly aware of the TS EAMCET 2024 exam pattern, giving them an advantage in preparation and cracking the exam. TS EAPCET (EAMCET) 2024 will be conducted online, i.e., as a computer-based test (CBT). The exam will be conducted for 3 hours (180 minutes), and the paper will be available in English, Telugu, and Urdu.

TS EAPCET (EAMCET) 2024 syllabus includes classes 11 and 12 level topics from Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. A total of 160 questions will be asked from subjects like Mathematics (80 questions), Physics (40 questions), and Chemistry (40 questions). The question paper will be objective-type questions. TS EAPCET (EAMCET) 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

The applicants must follow specific instructions given by the conducting body. These guidelines include the following.

• TS EAPCET (EAMCET) 2024 admit card issued to the candidate is an important document. Candidates are required to preserve it carefully.
• The hall ticket is non-transferable. Hall tickets should not be tampered with, or it will lead to the disqualification of candidature.
• Candidates must arrive at the examination hall at least half an hour before the examination commencement.
• Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall once the examination begins under any circumstances.
• Candidates must carry their hall ticket/ admit card, a good ballpoint pen (blue or black), the completed online application form, and an attested copy of the Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ST category candidates only) to the examination hall.
• Candidates must not bring logbooks, tables, calculators, pagers, or cell phones. These items are strictly prohibited inside the examination room, and any candidate found carrying any forbidden material will be disqualified from attending the exam.
• The TS EAMCET 2024 question paper booklet, given to the candidates, will consist of 160 questions (multiple choice type) in three different sections subject-wise, with four responses given to each question. Only one response will be correct to the given question.
• Candidates must mark the correct answer in the TS EAPCET (EAMCET) 2024 Optical Mark Reader (OMR) answer sheet by shading the appropriate circle with a blue/ black ballpoint pen in the correct way.
• candidates are expected to answer all the questions. All questions carry equal marks. There will be no negative mark for an incorrect answer.
