- Number of Sections: Group A - 3 Sections, Group B to K Each Group Will Have a Different Section as Per the Course
- Number of Questions: There will be 100 questions on the exam. Each group will receive its own set of questions. It includes questions based on the courses selected.
- JEECUP Total Marks: 400 Marks are allotted for the paper.
- Question Paper Type: MCQ, Objective Type Only objective questions with four possible answers will be on the exam's question paper, and candidates can only select one of them as the right response.
- Medium of Question Papers: All examination papers will be printed in two columns, one in Hindi and the other in English, as the question paper's medium. The subjects change from Group to Group.
- Language: Hindi and English versions of the exam questions will be printed on the paper.
- Exam Mode: The JEECUP will be administered in an online CBT format (for all groups).
- Exam Duration: 150 minutes will be allocated to solve the question paper.
- Marking System: A total of 4 points will be given for each right response.

Instructions to Fill JEECUP 2024 OMR Sheet
Candidates must follow the following instructions while filling in the OMR answer sheet.
- The answer sheet will contain space to fill in the applicants’ details. Applicants have first to fill in the particulars without any error
- JEECUP 2024 question paper is of objective or MCQ type, i.e. 4 options will be provided, and candidates need to mark anyone.
- Applicants are requested to carefully darken the circles per the sheet's instructions to mark their responses.
- The applicant is required to bring their stationery for the examination. The authorities will provide no stationery items at JEECUP examination center.
- The answer sheet will contain an attached carbon copy. Applicants should carefully mark the answer sheet so that the impression appears on the carbon copy correctly. The candidates can retain the carbon copy and a question booklet to take home after JEECUP 2024 for reference.
- Making unnecessary marks or rough calculations on the answer sheet is strictly prohibited.
- The optical scanner rejects a faintly or lightly darkened circle. Hence candidates are requested to darken the circle properly.
- The applicant is advised to check that the booklet contains an accurate number of questions in sequence and should also match the serial number and series of the Test Booklet with the serial number and series of OMR sheets being provided before answering questions. In case of any discrepancy, the candidates should bring it to the notice of the invigilator.
