NEET result 2024 revised link was released on Jul 26, 2024. NTA made the revised NEET UG 2024 scorecards available on exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/. NTA released the NEET 2024 merit list on Jul 26, 2024. NEET 2024 score change was made in response to the Supreme Court's decision to revoke the extra marks on the controversial Physics question.

According to the updated merit list, the total number of NEET 2024 toppers has decreased to 17. According to the revised NEET 2024 merit list, 13,15,853 applicants qualified for the exam from a total of 23,33,162 test takers.

On Jul 26, 2024, NTA also released the updated NEET 2024 final answer keys, which state that Option 4 of the contentious NEET 2024 Physics question is accurate, rather than both options 2 and 4 being correct. The revised NEET 2024 cutoff has reduced each category's score by two points. 

Only candidates who chose Option 4 for that question received 4 points, while all other options received a -1 point. On the other hand, no points were granted or withheld for individuals who did not attempt the question. Notably, up to 44 individuals received full grades of 720 after earning the additional marks.

To download the NTA NEET results 2024, students must provide their login credentials, which include their application number, date of birth, and email address. They can also utilize their cellphone number or an additional mobile number to get the NEET result link 2024.

NEET result 2024 is released by NTA on, Jul 20, 2024, in a city and centre-specific manner by masking students' identities. Candidates can download their NEET 2024 result PDF using their login credentials generated at the time of registration. NEET 2024 Overall Merit List

Every candidate who appears for NEET 2024 shall find his/her name in this overall merit list declared by the National Testing Agency. As per the government guidelines, 85% of the seats available in a state are reserved for candidates belonging to that state. NEET Result: Validity of NEET Scores

Qualifying for the NEET exam is a mandatory criterion for admission to reputed Medical Colleges across India and foreign universities. In addition, the students who qualify for the exam by scoring the minimum qualifying marks will be eligible to participate in the counselling process for the country's 15 AIIMS and 2 JIPMER colleges. NEET Result Toppers 2024

On Jul 26, 2024, the National Testing Agency (NTA) released the much-anticipated NEET-UG admission exam final results. It was an unexpected turn of events since there were only 17 NEET-UG toppers left from the 61 stated in the earlier updated results. Both the cutoff marks and the number of eligible candidates decreased slightly.

On Jun 4, 2024, the scandal began when the initial NEET results revealed an unprecedented 67 students achieving a perfect score of 720, sparking concerns about the test's authenticity. In retribution, the NTA withheld grace marks from six candidates, reducing the number of top scorers to 61 on Jul 1, 2024.

NEET Cut Off 2024

NTA will release the cut-off marks for NEET 2024 along with the exam results declaration by the second week of Jun 2024. MCC will conduct the counselling process for admission of the NEET qualified candidates to Medical and Dental programs based on cut-off. NEET Result Tie-Breaking Criteria

Tie-breaking factors determine the All India Rank in the NEET result 2024 when two or more applicants have the same score. • Biology Scores: In the NEET 2024 results, those with better scores will be preferred.
• Chemistry Scores: Candidates with better Chemistry scores will be given precedence if the previous criteria are unsuccessful.
• Less Wrong Marks: If a tie still exists, the applicant with the less incorrect NEET 2024 answers will receive a better order of merit than the other candidates.
• Age Factor: Severing links with the age factor were abandoned per the latest NEET update. But it would be considered during the second counselling round of NEET.

Rechecking of NEET 2024 Result

Candidates cannot apply for a re-evaluation of their NEET exam 2024 result. This means that after June 2024, candidates cannot apply for a re-evaluation of their NEET result-cum scorecard. NEET qualifying status will be mentioned in the results of the candidates. The final score will be published on the NTA NEET result official website.

However, NTA allowed candidates to challenge the provisional answer key and the OMR sheets within a stipulated time before the announcement of the NEET 2024 scorecard. After the window is over, no challenges will be accepted.

What After NEET 2024 Result?

After the NEET UG 2024 result is declared, the qualified candidates must register to participate in the counselling process conducted by MCC to fill up the 15% seats under the All India Quota. The counselling process will be conducted for all the qualified candidates except those from Jammu and Kashmir.

The qualified candidates from Jammu and Kashmir, who are not participating in the AIQ counselling, must register for the state counselling process. Other qualified candidates in NEET result 2024 must also participate in their respective state's counselling process, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.
