NEET merit list 2025 will be released by the National Testing Agency. NEET 2025 merit list is expected to be released in the second week of Jun 2025. NEET rank list 2025 is based on the marks obtained by candidates in the offline entrance exam.

NEET Examination holds 76928 seats for MBBS and 26949 BDS seats in various government, private, central, and deemed universities in different states. Candidates can also seek admission to AYUSH courses or 525 BVSc and AH courses through the NEET 2025 State Merit List.

Candidates can also check the last year data of the NEET 2024 revised merit list, the most toppers were from Rajasthan (4), followed by Maharashtra (3) and Delhi (2). Bihar, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Chandigarh each had one topper. According to the revised NEET 2025 merit list, the total number of toppers who scored a flawless 720 has decreased from 61 to 17.

The 85% of the state quota seats and other seats in private medical and dental colleges comes under the NEET state rank list for 2025.

The National Testing Agency will announce the NEET 2025 merit list in the second week of Jun 2025. The NTA sends the All India NEET merit list 2025 to the Directorate General of Health Services for online counselling to fill 15% of the All India Quota Seats.

NEET State-Wise Rank List 2025

NEET 2025 merit list will be released after this the official notification and registration for state counselling will begin. The list will be based on the information provided by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

Types of NEET Merit List 2025

NEET 2025 State-Wise Merit List Eligibility Criteria

As stated earlier, the eligibility criteria include domicile, schooling, and others, but completing class 12 is mandatory for all candidates.

  • For admission to MBBS/ BAMS/ BDS/ BUMS or any other medical courses through NEET, candidates must clear class 12.
  • Candidates must also pass NEET with the minimum cutoff percentile score.
  • This is vital if candidates are to be considered eligible for admission to 85% of state quota seats or into private universities.

Tie-breaking Criteria for NEET State Wise Merit List 2025

Suppose two candidates score the same marks in the NEET exam, and they apply for admission in the same state; in that case, the conducting authority will employ some of the following measures:

  • The candidate who scored more marks in biology will be given first preference.
  • If the tie situation persists, the candidate who scored more marks in Chemistry will be given preference.
  • However, if the situation still exists, the candidate who gives fewer incorrect responses will be considered.
  • Now, lastly, the candidate older in age will be taken into account.
