NEET 2024 counselling round 4 provisional result has been announced on Oct 29, 2024. Students have to report to the allotted institute from Oct 30 to Nov 5, 2024. A total of 1,058 candidates received seats. Of the candidates, 311 were given BDS seats, 675 were given MBBS seats, and the other candidates were given BSc Nursing seats. NEET counselling procedure ended on Nov 5, 2024, rather than Oct 30, 2024.
NEET 2024 counselling round 3 results display the seat allotment status of 36,761 candidates from the first three rounds. As many as 4,046 applicants have been assigned new seats. On the other hand, 2,536 candidates' seats were improved in round 3 of NEET counselling 2024. NEET seat allotment 2024 round 3 results were declared on Oct 12, 2024.
The institute reporting procedure was from Oct 14 to Oct 19, 2024. This round saw the addition of up to 150 seats. Apart from that, there are 4,140 obvious vacant seats and 10,959 virtual vacancies. The MCC has issued NEET 2024 seat matrix for round 3 counselling.

NEET counselling procedure is divided into two categories: 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and 85% State Quota (SQ) seats. Stage 1: Online Registration
- Details: To initiate the registration process for NEET 2024, provide details like roll number, name, date of birth, mobile number, and email address.
- Generation of Credentials: Upon successful registration, a login ID and password are generated and sent to the registered mobile number and email ID.

Stage 2: Choice Filling

Stage 3: Seat Allotment

NEET 2024 Counselling Procedure
The eligible candidates will have to go through two rounds of counselling. All-India Quota Counselling is conducted by the MCC (Medical Counseling Committee), while State Counselling will be conducted by the respective state exam authority.

NEET Seat Matrix 2024
The round 2 NEET 2024 seat matrix indicates that up to 614 more seats have been introduced. There are 6,947 virtual and 11,345 total open positions, respectively. 54 applicants have had their Indian nationality changed to NRI in this round of voting.
The National Medical Commission (NMC) and the participating institutions verified the preliminary seat matrix between Aug 14 and 15, 2024. A letter inviting medical colleges to enter their seats at the official portal, mcc.nic.in, was sent by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on Jul 16, 2024.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has made available the seat matrix for the NEET 2024 counselling procedure. There are a total of 26,582 seats available for MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing courses throughout the All India Quota, Central Universities, Deemed Universities, AIIMS, ESIC, and JIPMER institutions.

For UG counselling 2024, the committee will take seat details from participating institutions through Jul 20, 2024, on the intramcc.nic.in/mccss portal. Additionally, MCC has informed institutions that the user ID and password they need to access the portal are the same as the previous year. If an institution forgets its password or wants to set a new one, it can also use the facility to retrieve its password.
NEET 2024 Counselling Details
NEET 2024 counselling is held separately for the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and 85% State Quota seats. While the former is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the latter is conducted by the State Medical Admission Authorities for the MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses.
NEET counselling 2024 is likely to be conducted in four rounds, and additional rounds will be announced depending on the seat vacancy status. While candidates are allowed to register for the first two rounds, no registration process will be available for the Mop-up Round and Stray Vacancy Round.

NEET Counselling Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates who meet the below-given criteria can participate in the NEET 2024 counselling process.
- The candidate has qualified for NEET with minimum cut-off marks.
- The candidate must have registered themself on MCC's official website.
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen
- The candidate must have passed 12th or equivalent from a recognised board/institute, with biology, chemistry, physics, and English as the core subjects.

Reservation of AIQ Seats in NEET 2024
In the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats for undergraduate MBBS/BDS programs offered by the states and Union Territories to the Central pool, the conducting body has provided reservations for different categories, namely SC/ST, OBC, EWS and PwBD, based on which NEET 2024 counselling will be conducted. The reservation of AIQ seats in NEET 2024 came into action from the 2021-22 academic session.

Important Information on NEET 2024 Counselling
For the Mop-up Round of NEET 2024 counselling, new seat allocations will be made. Candidates who have already been accepted into Rounds 1 and 2 of the counselling process will be able to fill out options in the mop-up round. If re-allotted, fees for already admitted students will be modified by the College Authority during the NEET admission process.

Conditions Levied by MCC for Candidates Willing to Convert Nationality to NRI
MCC has laid down the following prerequisites for candidates who wish to change their nationality to NRI:
- Candidates must have appeared and qualified for the NEET 2024.
- Once the category is changed, candidates will be unable to benefit from the Muslim Minority Quota, the Jain Minority Quota, the SC/ST/OBC/EWS Quota, or any other quota.
- The conversion of candidates' nationality from 'Indian' to 'NRI' is 'Provisional' and is based on the documents supplied by the candidates, which will be checked by the allotted college authorities at the time of report.
NEET Counselling 2024: Category Certificate
Students seeking for NEET UG counseling in 2024 should submit the necessary paperwork regarding their CW concession or entitlement using the Delhi University portal, which can be accessed by visiting the Faculty of Medical Sciences website at fmsc.du.ac.in, according to the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). In addition, category certificates must be submitted by Aug 4, 2024, at 5 PM.

A provisional Allotment list for NEET-related degree courses (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, and BVSc & AH – National-SS & NRI) in respect of Government / Management/ Self-supporting / NRI Quota will be published on the official website of CENTAC. From the date of the announcement of the Round 2 results to the last date, assigned candidates can report to their universities in person or online.
For further information about online reporting, go to the relevant college's website. Candidates who have been assigned seats should check in and download their allocation order from the start date which will be announced by the conducting body. At the time of admission, this allotment order should be given to the relevant colleges. Students are also sent SMS reminders to visit the website for more information.
Note: Candidates who do not submit their recently renewed Residence/Community Certificates on time can obtain their allotment order after submitting it either through the Grievance Attachment option in their dashboard or in person at the CENTAC Office on or before the last date.
