85 percent of the MBBS seats are available under the Karnataka State Quota for which admissions are granted after counseling held by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), Bangalore. The rest 15% of seats are as per the All India Quota based on counseling through the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC).
