Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process for Indian Institute of Fashion Technology (IIFT) Hassan 2024

B.Sc. in Fashion and Apparel Design

• I Semester: Candidates should have passed II PUC or 10+2 in Arts, Science, or Commerce.
• III Semester (Lateral Entry): Candidates must have completed a 3-year diploma in ADFT (Apparel Design and Fashion Technology), Textiles, Handlooms, or Costume Designing.
• General Requirement: Candidates must have passed the 10th standard/SSLC from a recognized board.

MBA

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream.

Application Process

1. Visit the official website of IIFT to begin the application process.
2. Complete the application form accurately.
3. Attach the following documents:

• A copy of your Statement of UG Degree marks
• A copy of the Certificate of Date of Birth
• Attested copies of all marks cards and certificates
• A handwritten Statement of Purpose (SOP) (approximately 250 words) in English, explaining why you wish to pursue the program and why you chose IIFT. The SOP should be written on a plain A4 sheet.

Once the payment is received, candidates will be provided with a user ID and password for the online entrance examination, along with model questions and exam guidelines.

General Admission Requirements for Undergraduate/Postgraduate

• The entrance exam date will be communicated via email, SMS, or phone call.
• Candidates must appear for the online entrance exam on the scheduled date.
• Successful candidates will be informed via email and will need to pay a non-refundable initial admission fee of Rs. 30,000 (part of the total fee) to secure provisional admission.
• After receiving the initial fee, a provisional admission confirmation letter will be sent, along with instructions for submitting original documents and remaining fees.

Note for Students

• Students appearing for their final year exams can apply, complete the admission process, and pay the initial fee to obtain provisional admission. Admission will be subject to the condition of passing the qualifying examination. In case of failure in the final or supplementary exam, the initial fee will be refunded, subject to a processing fee of Rs. 10,000, upon verification.
