BMCRI, Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute were established as a private medical school in 1955 by the Mysore Education Society. It is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences [RGUHS] at present. Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute have been recognized by MCI. The university was handed over to the Government of Mysore in 1966 and was later affiliated with Bangalore University. UCMS accepts NEET UG, NEET PG, and NEET MDS exam results for admission to various UG and PG courses.
BMCRI also has a well-established campus with all facilities like the Central Library, It is one of the finest government medical colleges in Karnataka. BMCRI admissions for 2024 will take place on the basis of NEET scores. Admission to the program is granted on the basis of NEET PG and NEET UG. Admission to the DM and M.Ch. program is granted on the basis of NEET SS. For admission to this College, the candidate must at least have 50% marks in the entrance exam.
BMCRI has set up different criteria for admission to different courses. BMCRI cutoff is the minimum mark prescribed by the selection board for the admission of students. The merit list will be designed on these Cutoff scores.
