NEET SS 2024 exam schedule has been announced on the official website. NEET SS 2024 will take place on Mar 29 and 30, 2025, in exam centres across India. The admit card was issued on Mar 25, 2025.

Important: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the demo test for the NEET SS 2024 exam, which has time-bound sections.

The final edit window of the application form was between Mar 11 and 13, 2025. The NEET SS 2025 application form correction can be done from Feb 27 to Mar 3, 2025.

NEET SS 2024 exam will be computer-based and take place across two days and two slots.

NEET SS is a postgraduate super speciality medical admission test that lasts 2.5 hours and 150 minutes and is administered by computer. NEET SS 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The National Board of Examination has prescribed eligibility criteria for applying for MCC NEET SS examination. Candidates were supposed to make sure that they satisfied these criteria before applying for the examination.

The candidate must possess a postgraduate degree (MS/ MD/ DNB/ Equivalent) from a recognized institution. Candidates that are completing their postgraduate degree are also eligible to apply. The candidate must be registered with the Medical Council of India or the State Medical Council.

NEET SS 2024 Eligibility for Foreign Nationals

Foreign Nationals who wish to appear for NEET SS examination need not register with the MCI. The MCI (Medical Council of India) on payment of the registration fees for NEET SS may grant temporary registration during the period of the Post Doctoral course limited to the medical college/ institute to which they are admitted for the time being exclusively for pursuing the postdoctoral course.

However, the candidate does need to be registered with the medical council /concerned authority in their respective country.

NEET SS 2024 Application Form

NEET SS 2024 application form was released on Feb 4, 2025 (3 PM onwards) and the last date of the NEET SS application process was Feb 24, 2025. All applicants were asked to edit their application form from Feb 27, 2025, to Mar 3, 2025, to make corrections. A final edit window was available from Mar 11, 2025, to Mar 13, 2025, specifically to rectify deficient or incorrect images, including photographs, signatures, and thumb impressions. No further opportunities for edits will be provided after this period.

NEET SS application form 2024 is filled in online and can be accessed by registering on the official website for the examination. The application fee per candidate is INR 4250.

Candidates are required to make sure they satisfy NEET SS eligibility criteria, or their application will be rejected. The fee for the application form is non-refundable.

NEET SS 2024 Exam Pattern

NEET SS 2024 exam will be a computer-based test with multiple-choice type of question and will be a single-day exam. The candidates are allowed to choose a maximum of two super speciality courses for the exam.

The exam duration for candidates selecting only one super-specialty course will be 1 hour and 45 minutes, whereas for candidates selecting two, the exam will be 3 hours and 30 minutes.

The exam contains two papers A and B. Paper A is for 45 minutes with MCQ-type questions based on all eligible feeder broad courses. Paper B is for 60 minutes with all PG exit level questions and will cover topics based on the selected super speciality course.
