NEET Entrance Examination for Medical Colleges
The NEET 2024 for medical is an all-India test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission into medical colleges and courses such as MBBS, B.D.S., etc. The students must qualify and score well in the NEET exam to take part in the admission procedure of Indian medical colleges. The candidates should have P.C.B. or PCMB as their subjects if they are interested in a medical field career. The exam pattern is given below.
- The total number of questions in NEET is 180 in the subjects of Physics(P), Chemistry(C), and Biology(B).
- Physics and Chemistry questions number 45 each, while there are 90 questions for Biology.
- The time given to candidates is 3 hours for a total of 720 marks.
- A negative marking scheme of (+4) for correct answers and (-1) for incorrect answers.
The NEET exam was conducted on May 5, 2024. After the exam, the results will be declared along with the All India Ranks of the qualifying candidates. 15% of the seats will be allotted by the Medical Council of India, while each state's remaining 85% are handled individually.
