Christian Medical College, [CMC] Vellore reserves 84 seats out of 100 for minority students, whereas 16 seats are available to all, and three seats are allocated for SC/ST and OBC students for the MBBS program. NEET UG test scores are required for those applying to the MBBS program. A computer-based test and interview will be used to select students for B.Sc, BOT, BPT, BPO, and diploma programs. CMC Vellore was ranked the second-best college in India by Education World India higher education rankings in the year 2021. The institute established a memorandum of understanding with the Kotagiri Medical Fellowship Trust to assist in the continued provision of healthcare services in the Nilgiris.
