SMCH was established in the year 2008 in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, and the college is well furnished with all the required beds and wards in the hospital. Saveetha Medical College and Hospital (SMCH) has more programs to offer at different levels from the fees as low as 10,000 rupees per year to up to 1,50,0000 rupees per year depending upon the level duration and specialty of the course. It has 51 undergraduate and postgraduate courses, 9 BSC courses, and 1 MBBS course also at UG level. For the postgraduate level, there are many specializations; 17 courses in MS (Surgery) and 17 in MD. For admission to these courses for next year's Academic session 2024-25, the college conducts the NEET exam.

Saveetha Medical College Admission Highlights 

Online registrations for DIMS Dehradun for the session 2024-25 are now open for all undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses. Several full-time courses are also provided by the institute at UG and PG levels consisting of BSc Nursing, GNM Post Basic Nursing, BPT and BMLT, BAMS, etc. The admission to the BAMS course takes place according to the scores of the NEET entrance examination and for other undergraduate courses, the students are selected on a merit basis.

MD Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must pass the MBBS degree in the relevant discipline as issued by the Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council.
• Candidates must have completed the compulsory internship of one year.
• Candidates must obtain a valid NEET PG rank to secure admission into the MBBS program.

MS Eligibility Criteria

Saveetha Medical College results for the 2022 entrance exam will be released in August 2022. The exams are conducted in July 2022. Students who are not satisfied with their results can apply for revaluation before the mentioned date. The revaluation application process is online and can only be done through the official website.
