Madras University, established in 1857, is a public university following the model of London University. It was one of the first five institutes to be considered as the University with Potential of Excellence [UPE] by the UGC. NAAC has awarded it an A-grade

Madras University NIRF Ranking 2024 was #39 in the university category. Madras University Admission 2024

University of Madras admission for the year 2024 will be open soon for UG and PG courses. Students can download a registration form and fill it out with the correct details. Madras University Scholarship

Madras University offers a variety of scholarships to students based on merit and keeping in mind their financial status. Apart from scholarships, the complete waiver of fees is granted to the poorest students in the PG course selected based on the merit of each PG course. The parents' annual income of that student has to be less than INR 1,00,000.
