• The NEET PG 2024 Round 2 counseling registration and choice filling process closes today on the official MCC website. Candidates must finalize their preferences before the deadline as seat allotment results are expected soon. Aspirants are advised to go through the schedule carefully and prepare all necessary documents for the upcoming admission process.

• NEET PG 2024 Counselling Round-2 Choice Filling for NEET PG 2024 round 2 counselling will be opened from December 5, 2024. The choice submission is to be done on or before December 9, 2024, at 11:55 PM. The choice locking will take place between 4:00 PM and 11:55 PM of the same day. Multiple choices are allowed. The seat matrix of round 2 will be announced soon.

Kasturba Medical College (KMC) Manipal, established in 1953, is ranked 9th by NIRF 2024 and 12th by India Today 2024 in the Medical category. It offers a range of UG, PG, Super Speciality, and short-term courses across Medicine, Surgery, and other streams, with a focus on MSc and MD programs. KMC is recognized by the General Medical Council of Great Britain, the National Medical Council of India, the Malaysian Medical Council, and the Australian Medical Council. It is a constituent college of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), recognized by UGC.

KMC Admission

Kasturba Medical College (KMC) Manipal admissions for 2024 are based on entrance exams. NEET UG is used for MBBS, NEET PG for MSc, MD, and MS programs, and NEET SS for DM and MCh programs. The institute also conducts the Manipal Entrance Test and department-specific tests with personal interviews for other courses. KMC offers UG, PG, super speciality, MPhil, and fellowship programs, including MBBS, MSc, MD, MS, DM, and MCh.

KMC Eligibility Criteria

KMC Manipal has set different criteria to be fulfilled by the candidates in order to get admission to the college. The basic criteria for some of the courses that the college considers is given below

MBBS Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
• The candidates must have obtained a valid score in NEET UG.

M.D Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates must hold an MBBS degree from an Institution / University recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
• The candidates must have a valid score in NEET PG.

D.M Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates must have an MD degree in General Medicine or Paediatrics.
• The candidates must have obtained a valid score in NEET SS.

KMC Cutoff

KMC cutoff 2022 will be released very soon. The cutoff is based on the eligibility test score of the students in their respective exams and the previous year academic performance is being considered. The institute uses NEET UG scores for admission to UG courses and NEET PG scores to select students for its PG programs. NEET SS scores are considered for admission to various specialty courses offered by the college.

KMC Results

KMC semester results 2022 are out and students can check their results on the official website of Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. The results are usually out within one to two months of the exams. Students can check the results by following the few steps, the students must visit the official website of the college which is manipal.edu., then select the desired result.

KMC Infrastructure

KMC Manipal is spread over 600 acres and offers all the facilities to the students and the faculty that are conducive to learning. The facilities include museums, library, skill labs, sports grounds, gymnasium and international level indoor multi-purpose sports complex.  Wi-Fi facilities on the entire campus, e-learning facilities, online library access, hospital and emergency care facilities, counseling for students, teacher-guardians and inter and intradisciplinary research facilities to hone the research skills are also available. KMC Placements

KMC placements 2022 are in process. It is attached to a hospital where the students get an opportunity to work after completing the courses from college. At this hospital, the students get hands-on clinical exposure. The placement cell of the college takes care of KMC Manipal placements. The cell ensures that students are placed according to their choices. The average package offered at the college during the placements is INR 8 LPA.
