Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences is a premier institution of Manipal Academy of Higher Education. The college mainly offers professional pharmacy education. The college began by offering D.Pharm in 1963. MCOPS was the first college in Karnataka to offer M.Pharm in 1970. Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences aims to upgrade the infrastructure and facilities required for new courses and programs. The college offers B.Pharm, PharmD, D.Pharm and M.Pharm programs. It also offers lateral entry programs in B.Pharm program.

MCOPS offers merit-cum-means scholarships and freeships to B.Pharm students based on their MET Ranks. Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences awards interest subsidy on education loan scholarships to the eligible students. The scholarships are provided in the form of ‘Interest subsidy’ by partial reimbursement of the interest on education loan availed by them from banks. The college also include educational loans, which can apply for educational loans through various financial institutions, including Vidya Lakshmi Portal and State Bank of India [SBI].
