Counselling details

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under DGHS organizes counselling for NEET (UG, PG, SS) aspirants as follows:

UG Counselling:

• 15% All India Quota (AIQ): MBBS/BDS seats from states (excluding J&K unless seats are contributed).
• 100% Seats: BHU (MBBS/BDS), AIIMS (all India), JIPMER (Puducherry/Karaikal), AMU.
• State Quota: 85% seats of DU/I.P. University (VMMC/ABVIMS/ESIC Dental).
• Jamia Millia Islamia: 100% Faculty of Dentistry seats + 5% internal quota for Jamia students.
• ESIC Quota: 15% IP seats.

PG Counselling:

• 50% AIQ: All states (excluding J&K unless seats are contributed).
• 100% Seats: Central Universities (AMU, BHU, DU) and Central Institutes as per eligibility.
• Deemed Universities: All seats.
• ESIC Colleges: 50% AIQ forwards of insured persons.
• Armed Forces Medical Services: Registration only.

Super Specialty Counselling:

• Under MoHFW, MCC handles 100% of DM/MCh seats in contributing states, private colleges, and deemed universities, excluding INIs.

Reporting details

Candidates allotted MBBS seats in Round 3 of UG Counseling by the Medical Counselling Committee, DGHS, Govt. of India, are required to report to the Institute of Medical Sciences & SUM Hospital, Bhubaneswar, with the specified documents.
