MBBS Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate should have passed the 12th Class under the 10+2 Scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination or Intermediate Sciences (I.Sc.) or an equivalent examination of the recognized University/Board of any Indian State with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English (Core or Elective or Functional).
• Candidate must have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English (Core or Elective or Functional) individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50 % marks together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• Madurai Medical College MBBS admission is based on marks scored in the NEET UG exams. 

MD Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates seeking admission for MD must have graduated with an MBBS/BDS degree from an MCI/DCI-recognized university.
• Candidates who have completed a PG diploma in medicine are also eligible for admission to MD/MS.
• MMC Madurai PG admission is based on marks scored in the NEET PG exams.

BSc Eligibility Criteria

• All the aspiring candidates should have passed [10+2] or High School Senior Secondary exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board or any other equivalent examination conducted by any State Board or Equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks aggregate. All SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 5% of marks in the minimum aggregate set as above.

Madurai Medical College is spread over approximately 18.39 acres. The infrastructure of the college is summarized below.

• For undergraduate students, separate hostels are available for boys and girls on the campus itself. 
• For house-surgeons separate hostel facilities for boys and girls are available at Govt. Rajaji Hospital campus itself. 
• Students who are studying postgraduate courses are having separate hostel facility, in front of the Madurai Medical College campus. 
• The central library of the college has open access system and has a collection of several reading materials for UG, and PG students. It is air-conditioned for both students and faculty members.
• The campus has a large playground for athletics. Volleyball and basketball courts are present. Indoor game courts and a gym are also present on the campus.
• The campus has a co-op store that sells all kinds of medical books, notebooks, records, and all basic tools required by students.

Madurai Medical College Placements

Madurai Medical College offers only an internship program to final-year MBBS students who receive a stipend of 20, 000 INR. There are no other placement drives that take place on campus. However, the training received by the students prepares them to be specialists in their field and work in government and private health care centers and hospitals.
