About BVSc
BVSc stands for Bachelor of Veterinary Science and it deals with the prevention, control, diagnosis, and treatment of disease in animals. Eligibility Criteria for BVSc
The basic eligibility for this course is 10+2 with subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and with a minimum of 50% in aggregate from CBSE/ICSE/State Board or equivalent.
Eligibility to most veterinary colleges is on the basis of results obtained in the entrance examinations conducted by the respective universities. The Veterinary Council of India conducts an All India Pre Veterinary Test (AIPVT) for admission to the first year of the Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (BVSc and AH) course.
