Bihar Agricultural University (BAU), Sabour, established on August 5, 2010, is a prominent agricultural institution in Bihar dedicated to advancing agricultural education and research. The university offers graduate and postgraduate programs and focuses on applied research, technology transfer, and farmer capacity building. BAU is home to six academic units—five in agriculture and one in horticulture—along with twelve research centers located across three agroecological zones. With 22 Krishi Vigyan Kendras, it actively serves 25 districts in Bihar, including key areas like Bhagalpur, Patna, and Purnia. Accredited by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), the university contributes significantly to the region's agricultural development and sustainability.

Bihar Agricultural University Scholarship

1. Scholarship 1:
• Amount:
• Rs. 2,000 per month
• Rs. 6,000 annually (contingency for purchase of books and stationery)
• Eligibility:
• Awarded to all admitted students.
• The contingency amount is provided after submitting the original cash memo upon successfully completing the semester.
