Eligibility Criteria at West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences:
Bachelor of Veterinary Science [BVSc] & A.H, Bachelor of Fisheries Science [BFSc] & Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Dairy Technology):
- Applicants seeking admission must be a domicile in West Bengal.
- The Applicants seeking admission should be 17 years of age as on 1st July in the year of application.
- The applicants seeking admissions must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent examinations in Sciences with minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English & Vernacular in H.S. or equivalent examinations for admission.
- Minimum aggregate marks for SC/ST applicants seeking admissions is 40% marks.
- The applicants seeking admissions must qualify in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (EVETS).
- The applicants seeking admissions must qualify in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for Engineering/ Technology. (for B.Tech.)
Admission Procedure at West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences:
Undergraduation:
- The candidates are selected on the basis of marks in 10+2 examination.
- The shortlisted candidates are called for personal interview.
- The selected candidates are called for admission.
Postgraduation:
- The selection of candidates is done on the basis of graduation marks.
- The selection list is out for the shortlisted students.
- Students are called for further counselling and admission.
