TS ICET 2025: Registration(Begins), Eligibility, Exam Dates, Syllabus, Pattern

TS ICET 2025 registration started on March 10, 2025. Mahatma Gandhi University in Nalgonda will hold TGICET 2025 for MBA and MCA admissions. Candidates can fill out the TS ICET application form by May 26, 2025.  However, the final date to apply for the TGICET exam without paying a late fee is May 3.

Previously, MGU, on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), published the entire schedule and TS ICET 2025 exam date on the official exam website, icet.tgche.ac.in. The TS ICET 2025 exam, rebranded TGICET, will be held on June 8 and 9.  TGICET 2025 serves as the admissions portal for MBA and MCA programs in Telangana.

TSICET 2025 will be held online at test centres across Telangana state. Candidates will find MCQ-type questions in the TS ICET 2025 exam divided into three sections: Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability, and Communication Ability. Candidates must answer a total of 200 questions in 120 minutes. 

About TS ICET Exam

Kakatiya University, on behalf of the Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE), released the official notification for TS ICET 2025. TS ICET stands for the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test, which is conducted by Kakatiya University on behalf of the Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE), Hyderabad.

Candidates who aspire to pursue MBA and MCA professional courses in Telangana state can take up this examination. A total number of 23,358 seats are available in 100+ B-schools in and around Telangana through TS ICET 2025.

Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test or TS ICET offers admission in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) courses. TS ICET 2025 question paper will consist of three different sections, of which the first 2 sections can be conducted in English or Telugu according to the candidate's choice whereas, the last section especially is conducted only in English.

Note: TS ICET 2025 will also be conducted in the Urdu medium for only one section.

TS ICET Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates must fulfil TS ICET 2025 eligibility criteria to apply for the exam. Therefore, the candidates must check if they have cleared the eligibility criteria before applying. The Kakatiya University of Warangal notified the following criteria for taking TS ICET 2025 exam.

TS ICET 2025 Required Qualifications

• Candidates applying for MBA must have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of duration from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% of marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
• Candidates applying for MCA should have a bachelor's degree, i.e., BCA, and Arithmetic or Mathematics in 10+2 standard.
• Candidates in the final year of their qualifying exam are also eligible to apply for the exam provided that the results will be out on or before TS ICET 2025 counselling process.
• Those candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree in distance mode shall be recognized by the Joint Committee of AICTE, UGC, or DEC.

Domicile and Age

• Candidates must meet the local/non-local status requirements.
• Candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules prescribed by the concerned university.
• TS ICET 2025 eligibility has no restriction on age to take the exam.

TS ICET 2025 Number of Attempts

• There is no limitation on the number of attempts a candidate can have for TS ICET 2025 exam.

TS ICET 2025 Scholarships

• Candidates who are eligible for the scholarship must be of age less than 30 years for OC candidates or less than 34 years for other candidates.

Note: The mere presence of the candidate for TS ICET 2025 or obtaining the qualifying marks does not entitle the candidate to admission. They must qualify for the individual requirements of the institute.

TS ICET Application Form 2025

TSCHE offers the TS ICET application form online. The registration process began on 10 Mar 2025. Candidates can fill out the form by 03 May 2025. TS ICET 2025 Application Fee

Candidates can use online methods to complete the fee transaction. Only after the application fee payment, the application for TS ICET 2025 will be accepted. TS ICET 2025 application fee for different categories are tabulated below.

Documents Required for TS ICET 2025 Application

Candidates must submit the documents Required for TS ICET Application Form 2025 during the application process. Failing to do so will result in the application being invalid. The candidates have to upload their coloured passport-sized photographs and signatures in JPEG format while filling out the application form. TS ICET hall tickets will be available online from May 25 to June 25 at icet.tsche.ac.in. To download the TS ICET 2025 admit card issued in their name, candidates must log in using their registration number, date of birth, and hall ticket number from the qualifying test. TS ICET 2025 hall ticket is a required document for all exam takers.

No candidate can take the exam without a hard copy of their admission card. The TS ICET hall ticket 2025 includes exam information as well as personal information that was validated at the exam centre.

TS ICET Exam Day Guidelines 2025

The important instructions regarding TS ICET are given below.

• Reach on or before the time mentioned on the admit card.
• Electronics are not permitted inside the exam hall.
• Students can take a plain clipboard to the examination hall but, it should be clean, and nothing should be written on it.
• Two Black or Blue ballpoint pens can be taken inside and a xerox of photo identity card.
• Students should carry the same passport-sized photograph, the one uploaded on the TS ICET online form. In addition, a print copy of TS ICET admit card is mandatory.

TS ICET Exam Pattern 2025

TS ICET 2025 exam pattern has been stated and laid down by the organizing body of the TS ICET. It is very important for the candidates to know and have an idea of the exam pattern in order to get the overview of TS ICET 2025 exam, which will in turn help them to understand the type of questions that are being asked and its distribution throughout the question paper.

• Topics: TS ICET 2025 exam will be of 200 marks which will comprise of three sections, namely Analytical Ability, Reasoning Ability, and Communication Skills. Questions will be of multiple-choice type.
• Exam Duration: TS ICET 2025 will be conducted online in the selected exam centre for a total duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes).

TS ICET Results 2025

The results are presented in the form of ranking cards. To be invited to the counselling round by participating colleges, candidates must achieve the qualifying percentage. To qualify for the exam, candidates from unreserved categories must score at least 25%. Reserved categories have no minimum qualifying score.

TS ICET Counselling 2025

TS ICET counselling 2025 registration for the special phase will be open tentatively in Sep 2025. The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) oversees TGICET counselling for MBA and MCA admissions throughout the state. TSICET counselling is divided into two phases, followed by a spot counselling round.

TSICET counselling is conducted online, with a physical document verification round at the hotline centres. Aside from document verification, other aspects of the counselling process are managed on the official website, tgicet.nic.in.

• Eligibility: Candidates who have successfully cleared TS ICET 2025 can participate in the counselling process.
• Process: Candidates must first register for TS ICET 2025 counselling process which includes document verification. The candidates must be present in the help centres which will be specified by the authorities of TS ICET, then carry out TS ICET 2025 document verification process. Once the certificates are verified, the conducting authority will release a portal to book their preferred slot.
• Seat Allotment: 85% of the available seats will be reserved for the local candidates. 15% of the remaining will be left unreserved, as specified in the AP Educational Institutions order 1974. During the seat allotment process, choices that have been locked by the candidates before the deadline will be considered for the seat allocation process.
• Payment of Fee: The next step is the payment of the fee. Candidates are required to download the bank challan from the online website. The fee can be paid in any of the Andhra Bank or Indian Bank in the state of Telangana.
