UniPune/SPPU was established in 1949 under the Poona University Act. The campus spreads over 411 acres and houses 46 academic departments. It has about 307 recognized research institutes and 612 affiliated colleges. It offers UG, PG, PhD, PG Diploma, Diploma, and Certificate courses in science, commerce, arts, engineering, and management. MHT CET scores are accepted for admission into various courses.

Savitribai Phule Pune University is popularly known as the 'UniPune' and Oxford of the East. The UGC has recognized the university and is accredited by NAAC with an 'A+ grade. SSPU also has many programs and cells formed to help students in various aspects of their educational journey. Schemes like Nirbhay Kanya Abhiyan Scheme [Girls] teach them how to be confident, self-defence, NCC, and many other activities. SPPU Admission

SPPU Admission 2024 is held online for various courses. Students can download a registration form and fill it in with the correct details. UniPune also conducts entrance examinations for MBA, M.Tech, and PhD. For MBA, students have to clear the NATA examination. GATE scores are accepted for admission to M.Tech. The admission procedure for a PhD is the same as that finalized by UGC. BE/BTech admissions are based on MHTCET scores. The admission is based on entrance exam scores and merit prepared for different courses. 

SPPU Eligibility Criteria

UniPune has announced the Unipune result 2022 online for M.Com, B.Sc, B.A.LL.B., M.Com, M.Pharma, B.E, B.Pharma, LLM, MA, M.Sc & Diploma courses at the official website. Candidates who attempted the Pune University Examinations can access and download the result online by keying in the login credentials such as the "Seat Number and Mother's Name". The Online Unipune result 2022 is to provide short information on students' exam performance. SPPU has signed MoU with the Indian Institute of Gems and Jewellery, Mumbai, for offering a 3- year Bachelor of Arts in Gems and Jewellery Designing at SPPU. SPPU Distance Education

UniPune provides distance education through the School of Open Learning. Various postgraduate and undergraduate programs are offered in the Arts and Commerce field.
