WBJEE General Eligibility Criteria 2025
The following are some important points under the WBJEE eligibility criteria that candidates must keep in mind before filling out the WBJEE application form:
- All Candidates who will apply for the exam must be a citizens of India.
- The candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination before 2025 or are appearing in the 12th examination in 2025.
- Candidates must be at least 17 years old as of 31/12/2025. A candidate should have been born on or before 31.12.2008. There is no upper age limit for appearing in the examination.
- However, for admission to Marine Engineering courses, the upper age limit is 25 Years as of 31/12/2025.

- Should have been a permanent resident of West Bengal for ten consecutive years.

- Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination in General Stream in the regular class mode of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a recognized Council/ Board as eligibility.
- Compulsory Subjects: Candidates should have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects to apply for WBJEE 2025.

WBJEE Eligibility Criteria 2025 Calcutta University
- Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equalent examination form recognized Council/Board in regular class mode.
- Compulsory Subjects: Individual passing marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects for students to be eligible.

- Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent from a recognized Council/ Board in the regular class mode to meet WBJEE eligibility criteria.

As per WBJEE eligibility norms and standards of the Director-General of Shipping, Government of India, candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a recognized Council/Board.

WBJEE Eligibility Criteria 2025 Architecture
- Individual passing marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects are required for a candidate to be eligible.
- Minimum eligibility is 60% marks in the above subjects taken together (45% for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates), having 60% marks in Mathematics (45% for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates) as well as passing marks in English with a minimum of 30% marks (for all categories of candidates).
- Candidate must qualify either in the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi, or in Paper 2 of JEE Mains conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education.

As per the norms and eligibility standards of the Council of Architecture (COA)
- No candidate with less than 50% marks in aggregate shall be eligible for the architecture course unless they have passed an examination at the end of the new (10+2) scheme of Senior School Certificate Examination or equivalent with Mathematics as a subject of examination at the 10+2 level.
- The candidate must also qualify in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) or Paper 2 of JEE Mains conducted by the NTA, a standard eligibility criterion.
