Candidates must dress comfortably. They should avoid wearing clothing with too many pockets, big buttons, layers, or metallic accents. This clothing rule applies to both male and female candidates. 

To reduce inconvenience, male candidates should dress in shirts, T-shirts, trousers, pullovers, jeans, and other appropriate attire. Females can wear t-shirts, shirts, Kurtis, dresses, jeans, and leggings.

MHT CET Dress Code: Footwear

Select comfy sandals or slippers with thin soles. Candidates wearing shoes with thick soles may have to undergo severe security inspections, which is inconvenient and time-consuming. Therefore, it is advisable to go for uncomplicated footwear.

MHT CET 2025 Dress Code: Jewellery and Accessories

Candidates are advised not to wear jewellery within the MHT CET exam centre. Additionally, girls must tie their hair with simple rubber bands or clutches. Large hair ornaments are not permitted in the examination hall.

• Metallic decorations or embellishments for clothing or footwear. 
• Jackets with many pockets, shawls, and hoodies. 
• Heavy earrings, necklaces, and other showy jewellery. 
• Candidates who wear caps, veils, and other headgear for religious reasons must arrive early at the exam centre to ensure thorough security checks.

MHT CET 2025 Prohibited Items 

The items that are not allowed inside the examination hall are listed below. The candidates must refrain from bringing these items to the exam at any cost. The prohibited items are as follows. 

• Electronic gadgets like mobiles or tabs and electronic items like pen drives, earphones or health bands
• Stationery items except for the pen that’s to be used during the exam 
• Water bottles, except the transparent ones. 
• Food items 
• Personal belongings like bags or wallets

Note: People with medical issues can carry the medicines needed, but they need to get approved permission beforehand.

MHT CET 2025 Exam Day Guidelines 

Adhering to the exam day guidelines is mandatory to avoid inconveniences in the exam process. The following are important exam day instructions for the MHT CET 2025 dress code.

• Candidates must arrive at the centre 90 minutes before the exam begins. 
• The candidates must bring the MHT CET admit card 2025 and one valid ID proof.
