VIT Pune was established in the year 1983 as a private institute.VIT Pune offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate level courses in the fields of computer applications and engineering. VIT Pune is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with ‘A++’ grade.There will be no management quota, admissions to VIT Pune will solely be made through the State government admission cycle. The university accepts qualifying exams like MHTCET, GATE, and CAT/MAT. The dates for GATE 2024 are out and the exam will be conducted between February 03, 2024 and February 11, 2024.

VIT Pune campus is located in Upper Indira Nagar area of Pune, Maharashtra and has an area of 17.625 acres.The signature programme at VIT Pune is the B.Tech in Computer Engineering. JEE Main or MHT CET are the entrance exams used for programme admission. VIT Pune is approved as an autonomous institute by UGC and is also approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

VIT Pune Admission

VIT Pune  provides students with multiple undergraduate, postgraduate, postgraduate diploma, and doctoral courses in a variety of specializations. The Vishwakarma Institute of Technology Admission 2022 is based on performance in the Entrance Exam. The application process for courses under the VIT Pune admission is done online and offline.

VIT Pune Eligibility Criteria

VIT Pune admissions are opening, with the college accepting national and state-level entrance exams to select candidates. The candidates are chosen through a centralized admissions process.The following eligibility criteria need to be fulfilled by all the students seeking admission into courses offered by VIT Pune before applying for the admissions.

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have a valid JEE MAINS/ MHT-CET score.
• Candidates must have completed 12th standard with Physics, Mathematics and Biology/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science and with 50% marks.
• The candidate should have secured a valid score in the MHTCET examination. 

M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have a valid GATE score.
• Candidates must have completed B.Tech with 55% marks in a relevant field.

MCA Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have a valid MAH MCA CET score.
• Candidates must have completed BCA.

VIT Pune recently kicked off its 2022 placement campaign, in which 29 recruiters took part. The highest CTC during the 2022 placement campaign was INR 9 LPA. 64 students had previously been assigned.
