Garware College of Commerce, Pune was established in 1967. The institute is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University and has been accredited with 'A' grade by NAAC.  The college provides education up to PhD level. The college strength of students is about 3000. Many different and special subjects in Commerce and Administration curricula are taught in the college which includes a vocational course in taxation.

The college has devoted and qualified staff. The college has a good infrastructure which includes excellent buildings & library, reading halls, well-equipped computer laboratories, gymnasium, hostel, audio-visual equipment and teaching aids. from the University Grants Commission gives regular grants for books, projects, seminars and faculty development programmes to the college. Garware College of Commerce admission department provides the admissions to PhD level. Being located centrally, it is very convenient for students in the city.
