VIIT Pune was set up in 2002 by the Bansilal Ramnath Agarwal Charitable Trust in Pune, Maharashtra. The trust which was established in 1975 undertakes various religious, educational, and social activities. The trust adopted the name, Vishwakarma, to develop Engineers who can take up challenging jobs in the technical field. The Institute is established as an autonomous Institute and is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). The university accepts qualifying exams like MHTCET, GATE, and CAT/MAT. 

VIIT Pune is an Engineering Institute that provides UG, PG and Doctorate Programs. UG courses include B.Tech. and B.Tech. (Lateral). PG Courses include M.Tech course. The Institute also offers PhD programs in various specializations of Engineering. The college has a wifi enabled campus, medical and parking facility in the campus. VIIT Pune Admission

Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, Pune admission 2024 to the Engineering courses is as per the directions issued by the State Common Entrance Test Cell of Govt. of Maharashtra. The candidates should fill out the application form online after checking the eligibility criteria. The necessary details need to be filled and the relevant documents are to be uploaded. The selected students will be called for verification purposes. The institute accepts various entrance exam scores like MHTCET, JEE Mains, GATE, GPAT. 

VIIT Pune Eligibility Criteria

VIIT Pune has certain criteria for admission to be fulfilled by the students. The candidates should check their eligibility before applying for the various courses. The eligibility details for some courses are mentioned below

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of Biology or Chemistry or Biotechnology or vocational subjects.
• The candidate should also have a valid MHTCET score.
• Candidates who have completed a Diploma in Engineering and Technology with a minimum of 50% can also apply.

M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should have passed a Bachelor's degree in the relevant field from a recognized university with a minimum of 50%.
• The candidate should also have a valid GATE score.

PhD Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should have completed the Masters with a minimum of 55%.

VIIT cutoff 2022 will be released soon. The institute releases the cutoff list every year for admission to various UG & PG courses. The students need to meet the basic cutoff set by the college. Admission to various courses is based on the college's cutoff criteria, eligibility norms, and procedures. Students who are seeking admission to this college are required to meet the cutoff criteria of the college and need to obtain a valid score in JEE Mains, MHTCET, GATE, and GPAT for various UG, PG and Ph.D. admissions.

VIIT Pune Results

VIIT Pune result 2022 has been released and can be checked on the official website of the college. Results for many courses are declared and for some courses, they will soon be declared. The results for entrance exams like MHTCET are yet to be announced for admission to B.E, B.Tech & B.Pharm. To check the results students need to login to the college's official website i.e. viit.ac.in and fill in their credentials to check their results.
