Army Institute of Technology, [AIT] Pune was established as a private institute in the year 1994. The campus of AIT Pune is located on Alandi Road in Dighi area in the outskirts of Pune, Maharashtra and has an area of 30 acres. AIT Pune is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with ‘A’ grade, and is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC).

AIT Pune is affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). AIT Pune offers undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes in the field of engineering only to the wards of army personnel in India. All of these programmes are accredited by the NBA.

Students must satisfy the following eligibility criteria before applying for admission at AIT Pune.

AIT Pune BE Eligibility

• Candidates must have a valid JEE score.
• Candidates must have 50% average marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subject in 12th standard.
• Candidates’ parents must have completed 10 years of service in the army.

AIT Pune ME Eligibility

• Candidates must have a valid GATE score.
• Candidates must have completed BE in Mechanical Engineering.
• Candidates’ parents must have completed 10 years of service in the army.

AIT Pune Admission
