Microsoft and Cisco were two super dream companies that hired in double digits (12 – 16, I guess). Apart from that, another 10 – 15 students (mostly GDC, 2 for IDC who did an internship) got PPO from Microsoft. Some 20 students will get to do an internship at Cisco through their CCNA programme. They will be converted to FTEs based on their performance during the internship period. The highest package was offered by Amazon (27 lacs -> 3 students). Directi (26 lacs -> 1 student), Paypal (21 lacs -> 7 students), De-Shaw (25 lacs -> 3 students). Other super dream companies like Morgan Stanley, Appdynamics, ABCO, Commvault, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Oracle, Schlumberger, McKinsey etc hired around 4-5 each on an average. There were many other super dream companies that came to our campus. Given below is the link to VIT Alumni Association commonly known as VITAA.
