ATMA Preparation Tips 2024
It is believed that ATMA is easier as compared to CAT. However, the ATMA question paper is lengthier. The candidates need good speed to be able to solve the entire question paper on time.
Some of the ATMA Preparation 2024 tips and tricks which the candidates can use at the time of preparation and attempting the actual examination are discussed below.
1. Must-Have Conceptual Knowledge
The basic concepts of Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Data Interpretation will remain the same throughout. So, to effectively prepare for the questions, you should develop a strong basic understanding of every type of question. It will help you to solve any question in 1-2 minutes or even seconds. It is also important to make sure that you know the concepts according to the distribution of questions in the question paper.
Topic-wise or concept-wise preparation will also help the candidates to understand the difficulty of the topics or sections and will be able to categorize and study them based on their importance and difficulty. This way they can concentrate on the most important or the most difficult ones, and then move on to the rest of the questions.
2. Practice With Clocking Speed
Since the number of questions is very high. The candidate should always give a designated amount of time to each question. Practice while keeping a stopwatch alongside. Focus on trying to solve the arithmetical calculations in your mind.
This will save a lot of time. Always devote your time to the easier questions or the questions that you can do. Save your time for the ones that are difficult and time-consuming. Practising a lot of question papers can enhance your time efficiency and can help in reducing time consumption at the time of the examination.
3. Don't Attempt Doubtful Ones
The tricky questions will lure the candidate. Be careful. If you don't know the question well, don't attempt it. There are chances that you will lose marks. Since many questions will be there, the wrong ones will make your overall score very less.
Hence, prepare well for the section you know the best and focus less on doubtful sections. It is better to leave the doubtful questions thus, move on to the next, and later come back and attend to the questions after completely attending to others.
