No hostel facility is available for BE students. But PG facilities are available nearby and average fee is 6000 per month approx. Canteen are goods and economical.(40 per meals) Infrastructure is very of the entire campus.
For getting admission in B.E course , all you have to do is to have diploma in concerned branch of engineering from recognised institute with more than 70 % of Marks and work experience of two years. Then you have to go through the entrance examination. Generally held in the month of November. The cut-off for the examination is usually from 60-70 marks for external students.
Class timing is from 6 pm to 9 pm from Mon to Sat and practical classes on Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm. Projects are assigned in final year and examination is as per annual basis along with two sessional. The assignment is also assigned to each subject. The teaching method is average. Good for those who want to have graduation along with the job.
For civil engineering (B.E) the course fee is 16,400 INR. And for the rest of the branch, it is 38,500 (INR). Scholarship available are MOMA, JAMIA TEACHER ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP, MANU SCHOLARSHIP ETC. Jamia has two banks within the campus from where loans can be easily availed i.e. Indian bank and Bank of India.
There is two or three student society is available in the campus. Cultural and sports events is continues throughout the year. College life good if you find it.
