Brigham Young University Admission Requirement

All International applicants and transfer students admission requirement with less than 24 semesters (36 quarter) hours of college credit must take the ACT or SAT a nationwide standardized admission exam. Applicants from international schools that are not modelled after the United States must submit their TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS scores (International English Language Testing System)

Brigham Young University Application Process for International Students

International (non-US) students are encouraged to begin the application process far ahead of the deadlines. Before the I-20/DS-2019 may be provided, the requisite $500 International Processing Fee must be received. Students that are transferring are strongly encouraged to apply. With their application, applicants should include full written explanations in English of every coursework taken before attending BYU–Hawaii.

    • Total funding to cover the cost of the first year of education, books, and living expenses for the spouse and/or children

  • To get the I-20 form, candidates must pay a deposit of $4,000 to secure their admission
  • Work experience, a resume, and a statement of purpose are required

  • Pay the $35 application fee, which is non-refundable
  • Fill out the application for admission. Each semester that the student wishes to pursue concurrent enrollment courses, the application must be completed
  • On all previous work, have a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 or better
  • At least one semester of junior high school must have been completed

Admission Procedure of Brigham Young University

  • Fill out the admissions application. The application must be completed each semester that the student desires to take concurrent enrollment courses
