DePaul University is a private, Catholic research university in Chicago, Illinois. It was named one of the Best 386 Colleges in the U.S. by The Princeton Review’s Best (2021). When was DePaul University Established?

DePaul University was first established in 1898 as St. Vincent’s College before it was chartered as DePaul University in 1907.

Financial Aid & Scholarships at DePaul University

International students applying for admission at DePaul University are eligible for financial aid in the form of scholarships and awards. Listed below are some of the funding options provided to international students at DePaul University:

Global Gateway Program

  • Undergraduate students are offered $5,000 to $15,000 (GGP)
  • Students pursuing undergraduate studies also get $9,000 to $12,000 annual progression scholarships for Years 2-4 (depending on final pathway GPA)
  • Graduate students are offered $4,000

Direct Admit

  • Undergraduate students are awarded $15,000 to $24,000 annually
  • Graduate students get $1,000 to $5,000 (KGSB) for the total program or $6,000 for specific CDM degrees (India only) for the total program: Artificial Intelligence MS, Computer Science MS, Cybersecurity MS, Data Science MS, Human-Computer Interaction MS, Information Systems MS

Undergraduate students who have successfully completed the Global Gateway Program may live off-campus. Graduate students are also not required to live on campus.
