How can I get into the Longy School of Music?

55% of Longy's current students originate from countries outside the U.S. International students are required to prove English language proficiency to be eligible for admissions. The other admission requirements for international applicants at Longy School of Music are:

  • English Proficiency: The results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or Duolingo English Test must be submitted to all applicants for whom English is not a first or primary language.
  • Transcript Tests: Only translated transcripts submitted directly from the school are approved by Longy, with the official school seal containing graduation dates and degree earned.
