New Mexico State University (NMSU) is a NASA Space-Grant College instituted as Las Cruces College and later renamed by state constitutional amendment to New Mexico State University in 1960. It is also one of the oldest institutions of higher education in the US and is home to the very first Honors College in New Mexico. NMSU offers quality education and extensive research opportunities through its 5 campuses across the state.
